"Golden Anniversary Fanfare" (for Concert Band) was written by Mark Wolfram to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Medalist Concert Band of Bloomington, Minnesota. It's dedicated to Maestro Jerry Luckhardt and the band.
"Golden Anniversary Fanfare" (for Concert Band) is a GRADE 5 concert band fanfare which is meant to be used to as an opening number. There's plenty of room for announcer interjections built into the work. A final timpani roll allows the fanfare to segue to the next selection on your program. The work has colorful sonorities and large tutti sections designed to excite a crowd! With a dynamic blend which is both intellectually satisfying and aesthetically pleasing, the work has a duration of approximately 2:15. This is the perfect piece to start your concert - in style!
