"Two Minute Warning" is a smokin' original jazz band work composed and arranged by Mark Wolfram.

This chart is a real barn-burner!  After an exciting intro the sax section plays a lively, fast swing "A" section, followed by a full ensemble "B" section with sax solo interjections - then returning to the unison sax "A" section to finish off the tune. An improvised Tenor sax solo is followed by a lively "Supersax" soli during which the 1st Alto switches to Soprano sax. Then comes an improvised Flugelhorn solo followed by a call-and-response section between Brass section and Drum soloist. A return to the unison sax "A" section is followed by a modulation to the brass finishing the song.  The chart is wrapped up with pyramiding ensemble figures, more Drum solo and the big finish.  If you have strong soloists and a smokin' band this chart will bring the house down!

The instrumentation is as follows: 5 Saxophones (A-A-T-T-B, 1st doubling Soprano sax), 4 Trumpets (2nd doubling Flugelhorn), 3 Tenor Trombones, 1 Bass Trombone, Jazz Guitar, Ac. Piano, Ac. Bass and Drums. The duration is approximately 3 minutes and 15 seconds.
